The Coverage Check skill uses Lansweeper’s software inventory to verify whether a specific product is deployed across all in-scope assets. It classifies every device as covered, ready to deploy, at deployment risk, or requirements unverified, giving IT and security teams a clear picture of where gaps exist and what is blocking remediation. After the check, it can generate a phased rollout plan document and hand off directly to the Change Impact Analysis skill for deeper pre-deployment risk assessment.
Coverage sits at the intersection of two team mandates that rarely talk to each other:
“Is our deployment tool actually on every device?”
Completeness: which assets are missing the agent or software?
Readiness: are uncovered devices ready to receive it, or are there blockers first?
“Are there gaps in our security tool coverage?”
Risk: which devices are running without the agent protecting them?
Compliance: can we prove full coverage if asked during an audit?
This skill produces a single output both teams can act from.

Step 1 — Download

Step 2 — Open Claude
Open Claude Desktop or Claude Cowork on your machine.
Step 3 — Install the plugin
Go to Settings > Plugins > upload the .zip file as a personal or organization plugin.
Step 4 — Connect the Lansweeper MCP
Navigate to the plugin’s Connectors tab. Install the Lansweeper MCP connector, then click Connect and sign in with your Lansweeper Sites account.
