How to renew your current license?
Thank you for your interest in renewing your Lansweeper subscription. To ensure a quick and easy renewal process, please carefully review the renewal procedures outlined below. It's important to note that:
- Existing subscriptions cannot be renewed through our online store or reseller portal.
- The prices listed in our online store and reseller portal apply to new subscriptions only.
- Our system does not allow you to renew early, as renewing early would cause overlap between your old and new license key. When your renewal is completed, a new license key is issued and this key starts running from the moment it's generated.
Generating renewal quotes
Our management system only allows us to generate quotes for new subscriptions. We cannot generate formal quotes for renewals of existing subscriptions. All relevant renewal information, including your renewal cost, will be included in your renewal reminder instead.
Renewing a subscription started by your company
If you did not cancel recurring billing for your subscription, the billing contact (specified during your initial purchase) will receive an automated email with renewal instructions 14 days prior to your subscription's expiration date.
All of our sales are processed by our e-commerce provider Cleverbridge, who also sends any billing related emails from firstname.lastname@example.org. For renewal questions, please contact Cleverbridge directly using one of the support options listed here. To ensure that our e-commerce provider can locate your subscription, provide your Cleverbridge reference number, which should be listed in the Configuration/Your License section of the Lansweeper web console.
Renewing a subscription started by your reseller
If recurring billing for your subscription was not canceled, your reseller will receive an automated email with renewal instructions 14 days prior to your subscription's expiration date. Note that any billing related emails are only sent to your reseller, not to you directly.
To verify the status of your renewal, contact your reseller. If you are unsure what your reseller's email address is, get in touch with our e-commerce provider Cleverbridge. Cleverbridge will be able to tell you which email address we have on file. To ensure that our e-commerce provider can locate your subscription, provide your Cleverbridge reference number, which should be listed in the Configuration/Your License section of the Lansweeper web console.
Transferring a subscription from a reseller to an end user or another reseller
Due to privacy concerns, we do not allow a subscription's billing contact to be changed to a different company. If you purchased a subscription through a reseller, you cannot transfer that subscription to you or to another reseller. Conversely, a reseller cannot renew a subscription started by an end user or by another reseller.
In the aforementioned situations, your only option is to start a new subscription instead. Keep in mind that you should wait for your (or the end user's) license to expire before starting a new subscription. The license key generated for the new order will start running from the moment of payment or, in the case of a purchase order, from the moment your PO is approved.
