Visio has a wide range of templates and shapes that you can use to create professional-looking diagrams quickly and easily. You can of course also customize and create your own shapes and templates. You can use data directly from Visio, or import data from other sources to automatically generate diagrams.
Microsoft Visio Lifecycle
With MS Visio 2013 going end-of-life, there will be 3 more supported versions of the Visio software: Visio 2016, 2019, and 2021.
All versions of Visio up to and including Visio 2019 follow Microsoft's fixed lifecycle policy. This means the project is supported for 10 years. The first 5 years are mainstream support which includes feature updates, platform updates, security updates, and functionality fixes.
