27 July 2026 – Bridgepoint, one of the world’s leading mid-market investors, today announced that it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Lansweeper, the leading technology asset intelligence platform headquartered in Ghent, Belgium.
The transaction sees Bridgepoint partnering with CEO Dave Goossens and the wider management team, who will remain significant shareholders in the business alongside Bridgepoint. Existing shareholder Dovesco will also retain a minority investment, while Insight Partners and Imker Group will exit as part of the transaction. Financial details are not disclosed.
Founded more than 20 years ago, Lansweeper has developed a leading data platform that uses technology, AI and software to give organisations a complete picture of every connected device across their IT networks – from laptops and servers to industrial equipment and internet-connected devices. By providing complete visibility across the modern technology estate, Lansweeper helps organisations strengthen cybersecurity, reduce cyber exposure, improve operational resilience and manage increasingly complex digital infrastructures more effectively.
Today, Lansweeper serves thousands of organisations globally across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, technology and the public sector. The business has established a strong presence across both North America and Europe and has built one of the industry’s largest proprietary asset intelligence databases, supporting more than two billion recognised technology assets.
The company operates in a large and rapidly expanding Technology Asset Intelligence market, underpinned by structural demand for cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, hybrid infrastructure, operational technology (OT), AI adoption and the growing need for trusted enterprise asset data.
With Bridgepoint’s support, Lansweeper will accelerate its next phase of growth by enhancing its technology, expanding its cybersecurity capabilities, investing in innovation, growing internationally and strengthening its network of technology partners. Bridgepoint will also support the company in pursuing selective acquisitions to broaden its product offering and accelerate global expansion.
Bridgepoint has extensive experience investing in technology infrastructure and cybersecurity businesses, having previously backed companies including DataExpert, a specialist in digital forensics and cybersecurity services, Infinigate, a leading cybersecurity value-added distributor, and most recently iC Consult, a global leader in identity security services.
“Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Lansweeper. Bridgepoint brings deep technology sector expertise and a strong track record of helping software businesses scale internationally. Together, we share a clear ambition: to further strengthen our position as the global leader in Technology Asset Intelligence, accelerate innovation across our platform, expand our international footprint and unlock new opportunities in AI and cybersecurity.”
“Lansweeper has established itself as the clear independent leader in asset intelligence, operating in a highly attractive market underpinned by long-term structural growth drivers including cybersecurity, hybrid infrastructure and AI. The company combines differentiated technology, a global customer base and strong financial profile. We look forward to partnering with Dave and the wider management team to accelerate international growth and further strengthen Lansweeper’s position as the category leader.”
“Trusted asset intelligence is becoming an increasingly critical foundation for enterprise technology, AI and cybersecurity. As organisations adopt AI and manage ever more complex IT and operational technology environments, accurate asset visibility is more important than ever. We see significant opportunities to build on Lansweeper’s strong platform by expanding its capabilities, accelerating partner-led growth, further investing in innovation and continuing to develop adjacent cybersecurity applications.”
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
Bridgepoint was advised by J.P. Morgan (lead financial adviser to Bridgepoint), Rothschild & Co and ING (joint junior financial advisers), Clifford Chance (Legal) and EY (Financial, Tax).
Lansweeper was advised by William Blair (M&A), A&O Shearman (Legal), EY (Financial, Tax) and EY-Parthenon (Commercial and Technology).

About Lansweeper
IT and Security teams often work from different pictures of the same environment: separate tools, separate data, no shared truth. That gap slows remediation, stalls decisions, and undermines any automation or AI built on top of it.
Lansweeper is the leading AI Cyber Asset Intelligence Platform, giving organizations one trusted, continuously validated view of every IT, OT, cloud, and IoT asset. It turns fragmented asset data into a shared source of truth that IT and Security can align around and act on with confidence, powering safer automation and more reliable AI-driven decisions.
Over 30,000 environments worldwide trust Lansweeper, including CMA CGM, Rentokil, Sephora, Nestlé, and Newell Brands. Its machine intelligence, learned across 175M+ devices, gives organizations the foundation to align teams, scale automation safely, and reduce risk with confidence.
