Scanned VMware vCenter Information

Lansweeper will retrieve detailed information from your VMware vCenter server, including but not limited to:

  • Datacenters
  • Datestores
  • Datastore clusters
  • ESXi Clusters
  • ESXi servers
  • Guests
  • Network interfaces
  • Manufacturer
  • Operating system

VMware Guest Machines

When Lansweeper scans a VMware vCenter server, it will automatically list all ESXi Servers, datacenters, clusters and datastores. VMware guests hosted by scanned ESXi servers are scanned like regular devices, and have their own asset pages. Both hosts and guests will contain clickable links connecting them, allowing you to easily navigate your virtual environment and differentiate between physical and virtual machines.

Virtual Environment Overview

Lansweeper can scan all data required to give you a complete overview of your virtual environment. Detailed reports on your virtual assets can be found in the Report section. You can use the new vCenter Overview widget on your dashboard to get a topographical overview of your virtual network.
