Remotely Scan Performance Counters
Aside from scanning a very broad range of Windows information and Linux information, Lansweeper also scans Windows & Linux performance counters, without the need of installing an agent first. Performance counters are used to provide data on how much of a system's resources are being used. This provides an added layer of insight into the day-to-day operations of your IT infrastructure. With the added benefit of resources usage metrics, managing the efficiency of your IT becomes that much easier.
View Performance Data over Time
In Lansweeper, on the asset page under the new performance tab, you can find performance data for CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization of Windows and Linux computers.
Customize how often performance counters are scanned, and on which assets. Once your performance data is scanned, Lansweeper will display the information in graphs showing the usage of the asset's resources over time. Analyze your performance data over the last 24 hours, week or month to find anomalies, average usage or peak usage.
Streamline Your IT
Streamline your IT by determining bottlenecks or discover assets compromised by resource-hungry malware. Optimize workstations, servers, cloud instances or virtual machines for their workload.
Additionally, you can also utilize performance counters in other IT projects like migration. Analyze resource usage for your cloud or VM migration projects to determine the required resources for each endpoint.
