EOL Check by EndofLife AI Inc.

This skill checks the software, operating systems, and devices in your Lansweeper inventory against lifecycle data from EndoflLife AI Inc to show what’s unsupported or nearing end of life. It helps you plan upgrades and prioritize what to fix first.

The endoflife-lansweeper-check skill uses Lansweeper inventory data and the endoflife.ai MCP server to check each product and version for support status. It reports end-of-support and end-of-life dates, EOL Risk Scores, and exposure to CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, making it the starting point for EOL audits and budget look-aheads. Every date carries its source, and only product names and version numbers are sent to endoflife.ai.

Why the EndofLife Lansweeper Check Matters Here

  • IT perspective

“What do we need to upgrade, and when?”

    • A 12-month look-ahead of upcoming end-of-life dates supports budget and capacity planning.
    • Extended-support windows show where a version can be kept running while the upgrade is scheduled.
  • Security perspective

“Which assets will stop receiving patches, and which are already being exploited?”

    • Each version is flagged when it is tied to a CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities entry.
    • Firewalls and VPN gateways get their own support-status check, and every date shows its source for audit or insurer evidence.
