Founded in early 2003 by Kumar Sreekanti, Agami Systems Inc was a network storage firm with expertise in data storage devices. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, the company began distributing its servers called Agami Information Servers or AIS to businesses of various sizes. Agami Systems marketed their products to two main markets including the network attached storage or NAS and storage area network.
The company’s developers developed products like their AIS-3000 and AIS-6000 that featured specifications like a chassis form factor and other connectivity and network storage processors. While in some companies their NAS is still in use, Agami was bought by different companies in 2008.
