When managing the network for fast-growing enterprises, maintaining compliance across thousands of endpoints that come and go is no small feat. This holds especially true when visibility gaps leave IT and security teams unsure of which devices are actually online or up to date.

When Devicie set out to solve this challenge for its customers, it turned to Lansweeper as the single source of truth for endpoint state. By integrating Lansweeper’s rich device intelligence into its Endpoint Health Dashboard, Devicie transformed how organizations track, verify, and remediate their endpoints, streamlining audits, accelerating detection, and improving patch success rates across hybrid environments.

The Challenge: Unverified Devices Undermine Compliance at Scale

As Devicie was scaling its endpoint management platform to serve global enterprises, it faced growing pressure from customers to deliver real-time visibility into endpoint health and compliance. The problem? Native tooling couldn’t reliably detect when devices were offline, non-compliant, or missing critical patches, especially in hybrid fleets spanning Windows, macOS, and remote endpoints. This led to delays in remediation, failed patch jobs, and audit risks.

The Integration: Lansweeper as the Source of Truth for Endpoint State

Devicie solved this by integrating with the Lansweeper Data API as its authoritative data layer. A daily sync pulls enriched hardware and software inventory including OS version, patch level, compliance tags, and device status from Lansweeper into Devicie’s orchestration engine. Normalized device attributes are mapped to Devicie’s policy baselines, and any machine flagged as “Decommissioned” or inactive in Lansweeper is automatically excluded from update workflows.

Additionally, Lansweeper’s custom fields and webhook triggers are used to flag risky endpoints and feed real-time remediation queues.

The Outcome: Verified Device Data Drives Faster Compliance

Since implementing Lansweeper, Devicie customers report a 30% reduction in manual audit time, while security teams are now able to detect out-of-policy endpoints 2x faster than before. The integration also improved patch success rates by ensuring updates are only pushed to verified and online devices, reducing failure rates by 20%.
