Lansweeper scans printers in your network and finds the most relevant information about them. We use this data to provide a consistent interface for all your printers. Printer information is also found for MFDs (multifunctional devices), MFPs (Multi-Function Product/Printer/Peripherals) and photocopiers.

How to Find all Printers on Network
View Toner Levels
One very popular feature is toner level scanning. Every printer’s page shows a clear graph of the remaining toner per color (Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta). Most printers today are laser printers, but Lansweeper also scans ink in inkjet printers. Toner level information can be used to easily find printers that need to be restocked. For example, you can use the built-in report ‘Device: printer almost out of toner‘. This report lists cartridges with less than 10% ink left. You can create a daily email alert to stay up to date on which assets are running low on toner.![Printer-network-interface-asset-overview](https://cdn-website.lansweeper.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Switch-network-interface-asset-overview.jpg)
