The Challenge: Fragmented Asset Intelligence and Slowed Risk Response

Armis excels at monitoring unmanaged and IoT assets, but enterprise customers needed a way to correlate those with the rest of their IT estate including managed desktops, laptops, servers, and more. Without reliable links between Armis data and internal CMDBs, SOCs struggled with duplicate records, inconsistent risk scoring, and incident blind spots across hybrid networks.

The Integration: Bridging Visibility Gaps with Lansweeper’s Data API

To fill the gap, Armis built a connector that queries Lansweeper’s Data API every two hours, pulling normalized data on managed devices: MAC addresses, IPs, OS versions, software inventory, and user associations. Using MAC/IP correlation and device fingerprints, Armis matches unmanaged records to Lansweeper-managed ones with high confidence. Duplicates are merged, and enriched asset profiles flow into the Armis platform to support unified risk analysis and triage.

Additionally, Lansweeper’s custom fields and webhook triggers are used to flag risky endpoints and feed real-time remediation queues.

The Outcome: a Unified Asset View and Better Risk Decisions

This integration delivered an 87% improvement in managed-to-unmanaged asset correlation, enabling customers to visualize and respond to the entire attack surface in a single pane. Security teams reported saving 10+ hours per week on manual asset reconciliation while improving both vulnerability response and incident prioritization across mixed environments.
