On July 18th, Google released Chrome 115 for Windows, Linux, and Mac. In this release, Google fixed 20 security issues and added additional features and updates. New features and updates include:- The introduction of the Google Search side panel.
- A secure DNS auto-upgrade for some Quad9Secure DNS users.
- HTTP requests automatically upgrading to HTTPS.
- Support for Encrypted Client Hello (ECH).
- The option to disable extensions unpublished from the Chrome Web Store.
- Updates to initial_preferences.
- Bookmarks and reading list improvements on iOS.
- An update for secure DNS queries on the Cox ISP server.
- Reading mode.
- Removal of SHA1 in server signatures in TLS.
- Policy Sync dependency handling.
- Skia renderer for PDF rendering.
- One-Time Permissions option for desktop.
- A Privacy Sandbox Developer enrollment form.
- An update on the BrowsingDataLifetime policy
- Set Up Chrome module for iOS.
- A carousel on the Google New tab page that allows you to swipe between certain modules.
