In 1908 Camillo Olivetti founded Olivetti S.p.A. to manufacture typewriters in Ivrea, Italy. Currently, the company is headquartered in the Metropolitan City of Turin in Italy and has been a part of the Telecom Italia since 2003. Their product portfolio includes products such as typewriters, computers, tablets, smartphones, fax machines, calculators, computer printers, Microsystems, photocopiers, personal computers, and other products for business applications.
Besides these products, the company also designs, develops, and manufactures computer peripherals and a series of smartphones the company released in 2013. All of these products are distributed through a network of distributors and resellers in various countries around the world.
