GelSprinter is a range of Gel Jet color printers designed, manufactured, and sold by a Japanese electronics company called Ricoh Company Ltd. The company was founded in Minato, Tokyo, Japan in 1936 and first made other products such as wrist watches.

But in 2004, Ricoh acquired Hitachi Printing Solutions and created a new division called Ricoh Printing Systems, Ltd. The company has since developed and manufactured a wide range of printer and other related products that are currently sold around the world. The company’s master portfolio includes products such as copiers, multi-functional printers, laser printers, gel jet printers, facsimile machines, and others.
