Founded by Y.C Lu on July 14th, 1981, DFI began as a graphics cards manufacturer based in the New Taipei City, Taiwan. The company has since expanded in size and now manufactures and distributes a wide range of electronics and computer hardware products.
Since then, DFI has quickly gained a reputable name in the industry and was awarded a position in the top 10 motherboard manufacturers in CNR magazine. The company currently designs, manufactures, and sells servers, OEM/OEM services, industrial display technology, industrial PCs, motherboards, and system-on module solutions. DFI also makes non-PC business products like add-on boards and barebone systems.
