Remote Terminal Unit

A remote terminal unit (RTU) is a device which is often used to connect to distributed control systems (DCS) or supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. It is often described as a more advanced programmable logic controller (PLC). With custom OID scanning, you can now scan any SNMP enabled device for detailed information, including remote terminal units.
