The company was founded in 2013 by Cal Pei and Pete Lau, who was the former vice-president of another Chinese smartphone company Oppo. OnePlus is currently headquartered in Shenzhen, China with sales and regional offices in multiple countries.
While the expertise of the company is the development and manufacture of smartphone and mobile phones, they also produce other related products as well. In addition to multiple smartphone series, the company’s portfolio includes earphones, phone cases, power banks, and related software solutions.
