A team of engineers in Portland, Oregon’s Silicon Forest founded InFocus in 1986 to create a better way for people to share information and go beyond overhead projection. From there, the company began their work to combine light with digital technology to innovate new projection and display solutions.
Since then, the company has been able to invent digital projectors and follow that with advanced DLP projectors, sub-five-pound projectors, ultra-thin projection TV, and others. In recent years, InFocus hit a milestone of developing the first all-in-one interactive whiteboard with touch technology and also enable video conferencing. All of these products are designed for classrooms, meeting rooms, conferences, large venue projection, and others.
