Founded in 1985, Dane-Elec is a computer electronics company based in France with manufacturing facilities located in County Galway, Ireland. Dane-Elec’s portfolio consists majorly of computer and data storage products including memory chips, hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD), SD cards, Tf cards, USB flash drives, OTG flash drives, and network attached storage systems (NAS).
In 2012 Dane-Elec was acquired by a Taiwanese memory products manufacturer, Gigastone Corporation. The company still exists as Gigastone’s subsidiary, rebranded as ‘Dane’ and now manufactures a variety of other products like power banks, card readers, flash drives, wireless chargers, and more power generating products.
