A part of Robert Bosch GmbH that was founded by Robert Bosch in 1886, Bosch Security Systems is a video surveillance and security systems company. The company ventured into the security systems in 2001 with the purchase of Detections Systems and Radionics, Inc.
Their portfolio includes different models of cameras and software for video surveillance. Since then the company has made improvements to their technology to include IP cameras, recording solutions, intrusion and fire detection systems, access control and management systems to their portfolio. In 2015 Bosch Security Systems established a new distribution center in South Carolina to improve their distribution networks.
