From version 7.1 onward, Lansweeper is capable of scanning mobile devices that are enrolled in Microsoft Intune. Specifically, Android, iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Windows Phone mobile devices can be scanned. Scanned data includes device name, enrollment date and compliance state, MAC address, manufacturer, model, carrier, OS version, storage, IMEI, MEID, serial number, user, info on whether the device is jailbroken, installed applications and more.
To scan mobile devices that are enrolled in Microsoft Intune, do the following:
- Make sure you meet the Intune scanning requirements.
- Submit your Intune scanning target by hitting the Add Scanning Target button in the Scanning\Scanning Targets section of the console and select the Intune scanning type.
Enter a name for your scanning target, your Azure AD username, password and the application ID of the Azure Active Directory application under which the Intune devices are registered. At the bottom of the dialogue you can set the scanning schedule. When creating an Intune scanning target, scanning credentials will be automatically created. Alternatively you can also add your Intune credentials manually. In that case an Intune scanning target will be automatically created
- Wait for your scanning schedules to trigger or initiate an immediate scan by hitting the Scan now button next to the Intune target under Scanning\Scanning Targets. Intune scans do not visually show up in your scanning queue. They're processed silently in the background.
- View scanned data by hovering over the Assets menu at the top of the web console and clicking on the Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone asset types. This takes you to overviews of your mobile devices, from which you can click through to those assets' webpages as well. Alternatively, you can view scanned data using the built-in Intune report or custom reports you've created.
