Hello,

Just upgraded from Lansweeper 3.5.1 to version 3.5.2 and I am running into some issues after copying the new files to the appropriate locations. I am getting the following:

Server Error in '/lansweeper32' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Any help is appreciated.

I think I know what I did. I copied over the new thumbimage.dll and renamed the old one thumbimage.dll_old and I just removed that and I am now working. Thanks!

Jasonbrink,

I had the same error, just add on the security tab group "Everyone" and give it full access.
Do this for all the files you replace.

Right click on the file and choose properties.
Go to security and click "Add"
Add the group "Everyone"
Give "Full control" on the permissions tab.

It sould work after you give the full control.

Edit: if this doesn't work, restart your LansweeperService.exe.
