How do I place an order for my customer?

As an emerging partner, you can place an order for your customer by following the steps below. Note that these steps are for placing a new order, not for performing a renewal. Renewals follow a different process.

  1. Navigate to the Lansweeper web store.
  2. Adjust the slider at the top of the page to the number of assets you want to buy.
  3. Click the Add To Cart button in the Enterprise section of the page.
  4. Tick the box next to Check to enter partner coupon code
  5. Submit your partner coupon code and click Apply
  6. Optionally, click Add to Cart to add extra Lansweeper help desk agents. (One free agent is included in each license.)
  7. In the Licensee address section of the page, fill in the details of your customer: email, first name, last name, address and company name.
  8. Depending on the country you are in, a VAT box may appear. To avoid paying VAT, add your (and not the customer's) VAT number. If you and your customer are located in different countries, input your country in the licensee country field, as this is the field used for VAT calculation.
  9. Tick the box next to If your billing address differs from your licensee address
  10. In the new section that appears, fill in your own partner details: email, first name, last name, address and company name.
  11. Select the payment method you want to use: credit card, PayPal or wire transfer.
    • Credit card or PayPal
    • Select the credit card or PayPal option as your payment method.
    • Fill in any requested details and click Next
    • On the resulting page, check the box acknowledging that you are signing up for a subscription product.
    • Click Buy now
    • You as the billing contact will receive two automated emails: the invoice from our e-commerce partner Cleverbridge and the Lansweeper license key.
    • Wire transfer
    • Select wire transfer as your payment method.
    • Click Next
    • On the resulting page, check the box acknowledging that you are signing up for a subscription product.
    • Click Buy now
    • You will see instructions on the next screen on how to submit your payment by wire transfer. You will also receive these instructions via email.
    • Once the payment has been received, you as the billing contact will receive the Lansweeper license key via email.
Any billing related emails are only sent to you, the billing contact. No emails are sent to the end user. It is your responsibility as the reseller to invoice the end user and to manually forward the Lansweeper license key to them.

Paying with a purchase order (PO)

Optionally, if you submitted a payment via wire transfer, you can send a purchase order (PO) to our e-commerce partner Cleverbridge at cs@cleverbridge.com. By sending in a purchase order document on your company letterhead, you will receive a temporary license key while you wait for your wire transfer payment to be processed. Make sure to include all of the below info in your communication with Cleverbridge.

When your PO has been processed, you as the billing contact will receive the temporary license key. The final license key is sent once the PO payment has been received.

  • Use your company letterhead.
  • Mention the Lansweeper products you are buying.
  • Mention the reference number of your Lansweeper order, which you can find in any billing emails that were sent to you.
  • Include the billing contact and licensee contact details: email, first name, last name, address and company name.

  • Address the email to cs@cleverbridge.com. If you want, you can click the email address in this article to open an email template, where you'll just need to fill in your order reference and attach the PO.
  • Mention the reference number of your Lansweeper order.
  • Attach your purchase order as a document to the email.
