What impact has your nominee demonstrated professionally and in the community to support this candidacy?
Working at a hospital, Bert is supporting the true heroes of today that are currently active in the frontline facing the Corona pandemic. As a system administrator, he is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the system’s hardware and software. It’s Bert’s daily challenge to keep our doctors, nurses, and medical teams happy and “connected” to do their job.
Everybody familiar with the particular infrastructure and needs of hospitals knows this is a huge challenge that needs exceptional skills and passionate and persistent people to survive. Always on call (24/24) dealing with a wide verity of users, never-ending challenges and expectations, and (sometimes) with limited recognition or appreciation. Bert will always try to find the best solution for the challenges of the healthcare organization.
How has Lansweeper helped in making that impact?
If there is any doubt, Bert will access Lansweeper to check, double-check, or to dig deeper finds the answers he’s looking for. What has been your biggest challenge so far in 2020?
With the budget already under pressure at Belgian hospitals before Corona, it’s a big challenge to keep the staff happy and motivated. Working together with sysadmins like Bert gave me the deepest respect for the work and the difference they make within their job every day. I’m really convinced that Bert -as a true IT hero- will find a perfect way to donate the $2500 to a recognized charity.
