Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol that Lansweeper uses to scan Linux and Unix operating systems. Scanned Linux data includes disks, network interfaces, manufacturer, model, memory, OS, processor, serial number, software, uptime and more. Lansweeper also uses SSH (PuTTY), one of the most popular open-source client-side programs that allows users to remotely access computers over SSH, Telnet, and Rlogin network protocols. SSH (PuTTY) is a free tool that can be used as an action in Lansweeper to make an SSH connection.
