The Cisco phones have a ton of information displayed on their webpages.
Is there anyway that it can be parsed and displayed in lansweeper?

You can access the webpage and get basic device information with this url

https://<IP Address>/CGI/Java/Serviceability?adapter=device.statistics.device
This page will show the following:

If you need more info I can save the page so you can have the html that is displayed.
It is just in a table so it should be easy to parse the html to get the information out of it.

We've added this feature to our customer wish list, but we do not currently have a release date for it. (This will not be a priority to be honest. We are currently focused on finishing our help desk and deployment features.)

That works for me.

I second this request.

At least get Phone DN (telephone number assigned to IP Phone), and if possible, link/copy to IP Phone user field.

It would be nice. I also noticed that you should be able to link the phones to computer.
If you have a cisco switch and a computer is plugged into the phone it is showing them linked on the port.

Even with it being a low priority for Lansweeper, the PhoneDN field would be VERY important to us for relationship mapping. It makes the tool very hard to use without it for those of us "cloud" IP phone users. We use Cisco 7900 series phones through Shoretel and if I want to match up that one simple field I have to request a database export from them and match it all myself.

We don't have a release date for this particular feature yet unfortunately. As our development team is currently focused on our Lansweeper 6.0 help desk update, which is in beta, any other features have low priority for now.

Brick wall I'll throw my hat in this ring as well and say 'Me Three!'. You're already pulling the Model# and Serial# so it should be very trivial to give us the phones extension number from the "Phone DN" field from the devices webserver page. This would be extremely helpful info to be able to search the database by. Thanks! Member Posts: 3

Having the DN Directory number would save us countless hours. It seems like this would be low hanging fruit as the Cisco device webpage and SNMP has this field. Come on LS!

Unfortunately we currently don't have any news regarding this specific feature, other than it's on our customer wishlist. Thank you for your feedback.

Four years have passed since I added a post requesting that at least the phone DN be obtained. Is there any real possibility of implementing it?

As mentioned, we keep track of all request. What I can tell you is that this won't be implemented in the short term unfortunately.

I join the wishes. This is the desired function. Is there a workaround? External script for scanning and writing to the database in a custom field?
