Like almost everyone else we are all working from home since the COVID. We have a LS server setup scanning by IP but obviously not working since everyone is home and we use Zscaler as a VPN connection.

so my question is any advice on how to switch over to remote scanning?
I assume we will need to use the LS relay server and install the LS agent on every machine.
Has anyone pushed this out using Intune?

Hi,
LsAgent will provide you full information about your scanned Windows computers.
LsAgent does a full local scan, and imports that through the cloud relay server into your Lansweeper installation.
Intune scanning only scans mobile devices for the moment, like iPhones, iPads and Android phones. Because the information stored in Intune about Windows computers is rather limited compared to what LsAgent returns.

Also check your VPN settings to ensure you can ping and communicate with the machines via VPN, in theory you should still be able to communicate with them if your VPN is configured correctly. Some VPN's use a NAT type setup which prevents those direct connections.
