I have 5 printers on my network. LANSweeper has discovered all of them and categorized them as printers. However, it is only showing very limited information and not show any of the toner levels. While troubleshooting, I scanned one of the printers with the LANSweeper Device Tester and it returns every single OID for the printer and toners so I am unsure why I can see this information in the console. Ideas?

Resolved. It turns out someone changed the SNMP scanning credentials without my knowing. Once corrected, I am now seeing all the information I need. Thank you for the assist!

I've gone through all of those articles. As I mentioned before, when I scan each printer with the Device Tester, it sees the devices via SNMP and lists out all of the OID numbers. LANSweeper doesn't seem to report on any of those numbers. Am I missing a setting or do I need to setup all of those OID numbers as custom OIDs?

Hi brodiemac-too,

Ideally, network devices like network printers are scanned using SNMP.

The below two articles can guide you to start scanning them through SNMP
