I've never really looked before, but I just discovered that gpedit.msc can connect to a remote computer. The syntax is as follows : gpedit.msc /gpcomputer:{computer}

Before you go to make a custom action from this, I should warn that I discovered an odd bug with this. It seems to cut off the first letter of the computer name. So when trying to connect to computer1, you'll get an error message stating it could not connect to omputer1. Simple solution is to modify the line like so :
gpedit.msc /gpcomputer:.{computer} (notice the extra .)

Installing gpedit.msc on Windows 10 especially on Home Edition is challenge for a lot of people. Because they don't have the idea about this installation. When i want to install on my Windows 10 then i like to appuals.com and which steps contain this article are easy to follow and make the installation successfully good.

neosys : sorry for the delayed response. Been working on other projects recently. What is the OS you are suing, and what OS is on the client you are trying to connect to?

I do RUN:
gpedit.msc "/gpcomputer:.{PCXXX}"

And get Failed to open the Group Policy Object on PCXXX
You may not have appropriate rights (Using a Domain Admin account)
Details:
The network path was not found.

I get this with or without the "." and same using the PC XXX ip address !
But this would be a handy feature of course.
