Hi to all,
according to:

there shouldn't be any limitations on deploying packages but when I try to deploy I get an message that say I cannot deploy due to license limitation....what are all the real limitation of the free license?

What version of Lansweeper do you have?

Anything above 7 should have no limitations during a trial.

This is after the trial...when in freeware mode

Since LS7 the only difference between trial and freeware is the asset limit.

Have you tried deploying from the deployment menu? I checked and there is a bug in freeware if you try and deploy from an asset page. So I would suggest trying to deploy from the deployment menu.

Tried from deployment tab but there I dont't get any errors just doesn't do anything....no error in log, no message nothing Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

Strange. It should work... Are you sure you're not over your asset limit of 100 maybe?

You could also check:
  • Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Errorlog.txt, as present on your Lansweeper server.
  • Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\App_Data\web_errorlog.txt, if it exists.
You can also send those logs to support. They will investigate possible bugs even if you're using freeware.

It's best you send the log files to support with the explanation or the link of this topic. They will have to provide you with some debug options for extra logging to check what the service is exactly doing.
