Any update on this? We are planning to upgrade to the latest release, performing crud operations are our priority as part of automation on lansweeper

Adding my support for this feature. Integrating our tools is a must and direct database access seems to be out of fashion with data governance advocates and information security professionals. Need the API!

An asset management API is not yet in Lansweeper.

I've linked the topic to the feature request.

Any progress with this feature request? API's are badly needed. I may have to start looking for another product if LS can't share what the roadmap looks like for this.

Was just in the middle of writing the code required to pull MDM device info from our provider to inject cell phones into Lansweeper....just imagine my disappointment :(

As lansweeper makes it into larger and larger organisations *wink* *wink* this is going to become more and more of an issue. Help me help you Lansweeper team.

Guess i'll create AD objects instead? *shudders* so unnecessarily ugly.

This is honestly one of those painfully missing features; as a colleague put it, "It's 2019, why don't they have a rest API yet?"

It's to the point where we're going to write our own or wholesale replace lansweeper (which I am loathe to do, but my hand may be forced soon.) :/

I'd love for any type of update on this ("API" is too sort to search for in the forum)

Lack of asset management API's was the primary driver that forced us to ServiceNow.

Any news on this? This is becoming a more and more critical requirement for us too.

I can't give any sort of timeframes. All I can say is that we know it is a popular request.

We very much could use this as well to push some automation that we very much need. Right now editing a lansweeper entry is the only manual step we have for computer deployment.

This is Shame/mess to not have an API over SQL DB.
Some opensource solutions exist...
we are near 2020...

please priortize your technical devlopment instead of your Sale Force/Marketing !

I hope there is some movement on this feature soon, it's becoming a must have for any product we use and Lansweeper missing a restful API is going to force us to migrate to another solution that does in the near future.

I know for a fact you are losing potential customers just from my own discussions who won't even consider implementing something that doesn't have an API, the time has long past where people consider this a nice to have feature, it's well an truly a must have standard. It's very jarring for people when they find out it doesn't have a programmatic interface, people react in the same perplexed fashion you'd expect if you told them it does not support user logins.

This was also a point for my decision to abandon the renewal, the new product I'm using has it. https://snipe-it.readme.io/v4.0/reference

Definitivly not an Enterprise Product.
Pretty good for Small compagnies.
