Hello everybody,

I am having some troubles with the LsAgent polling from some Windows computers.

I have over 250 computers with the LsAgent installed and all from the same deployment script but 20% of them don't show up on the LsAgent Assets page.

When I check the device I can see the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\LansweeperAgent are there, the services is installed and running, and the INI file has the correct AgentKey/Server/Port information.

The log file looks like this:

2018-11-16 10:37:50,681 [1] INFO Starting Lansweeper Agent Service
2018-11-16 10:37:50,884 [5] INFO === Service started ===
2018-11-16 13:20:39,639 [4] INFO === Service Stopped ===
2018-11-16 13:20:41,404 [1] INFO Starting Lansweeper Agent Service
2018-11-16 13:20:41,435 [5] INFO === Service started ===

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted the computer, restarted the service but nothing seems to work on these computers.

Any ideas on what to try next to get these machines to start polling correctly?

Are these devices all a specific OS?

You can double check the LsAgent requirements here to make sure the OS and .Net version (or Mac/Linux) prerequisites are met.

Looks like you are correct, i just installed .Net 4.61 and the computers started polling.

Thanks for the help

The devices that don't poll are a variety of Win 7/10 and Server 2012.

But i did not check the .Net versions i will check this out.

Why does the agent even allow an install if it doesn't meet the pre-requisites? That's pretty basic functionality in most pieces of software.

What OS is needed and and also the .Net version?
