Officially known as Silicon Graphics International Corp., SGI was an American company that designed and manufactured diversified computer systems. The company was founded in San Jose, California in 1995 as Rackable Systems, Inc. and later moves headquarters to Milpitas, California. The company was for their hardware, software, and other high-performance computing solutions for data center deployment and visualization.

The company has a diverse portfolio that included solutions for big data analytics, petascale storage solutions, NAS, storage archive products and other solutions including related managed and professional services. Currently, SGI is a part of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise after it acquired SGI in 2016.
