Vision Company of Japan, Ltd was founded in 1927 as The Victor Talking Machine Company of Japan, which was a subsidy of an American phonograph and record company called Victor Talking Machine Company. Currently, the company is commonly known as JVC and is headquartered in Yokohama, Japan and produced a number of professional and consumer electronics products. In the beginning, JVC was most commonly known for introducing Japan’s first televisions and video home system (VHS) video recorder. Today, the company has an expansive portfolio that includes products such as projectors, IP cameras, televisions, camcorders, computer-related product, software, and other media and audio/visual products.
