The company’s origins date back to 1998 when Gordian Technologies merged with one its customers, a small startup called VISIQN. Changing its name to IQinVision, the company began designing, manufacturing, and selling network HD cameras for the surveillance industry. The company is currently headquartered in San Juan Capistrano in California, USA with offices in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Utrecht, Netherlands.
The company brands their products under the name IQeye and produces internet protocol or IP cameras, network cameras, and network video recording or NVR systems. In 2014, IQinVision merged with Vicon to further specialize in developing and manufacturing digital surveillance equipment.
