Founded in 1980 in the city of Roy in Utah, USA by David Bailey and David Norton, Iomega is a computer storage products producer. In 2013, the company underwent brand rejuvenation and changed their name to LenovoEMC, which is a joint venture between Lenovo Group Limited and EMC Corporation. Currently, out of the two partners, Lenovo has the majority stake in the new venture.

With the Zip Drive being their most notable invention, the company specializes in the production of external, portable, and network-based storage products. Besides that, the company also provides NAS products, optical drives, external hard drives, a home cloud center, and others.
