Ilevo is a privately held global telecommunications company that specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing IP (internet protocol) and telecommunications products for various industries. The company was originally founded as a spin-off of Ericsson. However, Ilevo joined the French energy management company, Schneider Electric in 2003.
Since then, the company has split its locations and has a back office in Karlstad, Sweden and the headquarters located in Grenoble, France. Currently, the company manufactures power line communication (PLC) devices and modems. Besides PLCs, the company also manufactures a broadband communication technology, which is known as BPL or Broadband over Power Line, to carry multimedia and energy services.
