Since then, the company has moved to Wilsonville and has become the world’s largest commercial manufacturer of imaging technology for military, defense, security, thermography, and law enforcement industries.
FLIR’s main product is based on forward-looking infrared technology (FLIR) along with other products like thermal imaging cameras, imaging sensors, and other related components. The company also makes products for consumer and commercial applications through smartphone thermal cameras. FLIR is mainly based in the US with some R&D facilities located in the UK, Sweden, and Estonia.
