eRacks Open Source Systems was originally founded by system architects and network design consultants in 1999 as eRacks Appliances and Thin Systems. The company is a subsidiary of Silver Wolf, Inc. and is currently based in Orange County, California USA with another office located in the Silicon Valley.
eRacks designs, develops, and sells several computer systems based on an open-source software. Their product portfolio includes various Linux distributions, BSD, Open Solaris. Along with that, the company also sells rack-mounted servers, NAS systems, firewalls, mail and web servers, laptops, netbooks, and desktop computers. All of these solutions provided by eRacks are designed for enterprise-level applications.
