Casio was founded by Tadao Kashio in 1946 as Kashio Seisakujo that changed to Casio Computer Co., Ltd. in 1957. The company is a multinational company headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan that manufactures a wide range of consumer electronic products. Casio is regarded as a key innovator in the technology industry as they produced the world’s first all-electric compact calculator. Among their product portfolio, Casio sells calculators, scientific calculators, mobile phones, analog and digital watches, digital cameras, electronic musical instruments, and others. Casio also produces cash registers, laptops, electronic keyboards, PDAs, electronic dictionaries, projectors, POS systems, portable data terminals, and other products.
