Avere Systems was founded in the year 2008 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by Ronald Bianchini, Jr., Michael L. Kazar, and Dan Nydick to produce computer data storage and management infrastructure. The company was then able to produce some of the most high-performing products for big clients like Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Infectious Disease (CDC), the Library of Congress and Rising Sun Pictures.
Avere Systems provides filing systems and high-performing hybrid cloud architectures like edge filers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), hybrid cloud NAS infrastructure, virtual filers and other cloud-based network storage products. These technologies have been used by several companies to optimize storage performance.
