Known by their alien emblem, the company is famous for producing gaming computer systems since 1996. Founded by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila as Sakai of Miami Inc., Alienware assembles workstations, PC gaming consoles, desktops, and notebooks.
Their products include laptops, desktops, Windows-based consoles, graphics amplifiers and hybrid gaming consoles. Because of their fondness for the TV series The X-Files, the founders named the product lines after sci-fi themes e.g. Aurora, Hanger 18 and Area-51. Currently, Alienware has a global reach in 35 countries, their products supporting more than 17 different languages.
