I think that depends on the system. I have some 1600 Mhz memory in computers that max out at 1333 Mhz and Lansweeper reports it as 1333 Mhz.

In the article that you mention, it says that Lansweeper can pull data from any device that has HTTP, or HTTPS enabled. On my Lansweeper server, there is no place to add scanning credentials for HTTP, or HTTPS.
