Please try the following report:

Quote:
Select tblComputers.Computername, tblComputers.ComputerUnique,
tblComputers.Domain, tblPrinters.Caption, tblPrinters.Local,
tblPrinters.Network, tblPrinters.Sharename, tblPrinters.Lastchanged
From tblComputers Inner Join
tblPrinters On tblComputers.Computername = tblPrinters.Computername
Where tblPrinters.Network = '1'
Order By tblComputers.ComputerUnique, tblPrinters.Caption

The way Windows Server 2008 R2 is reporting the tblPrinters.Caption field is different from what we were seeing with Server 2008(32 bit). The caption field used to look like "\\SERVER1\PrinterShareName" with Server 2008, now 2008 R2 reports the same printer share's tblPrinters.Caption field as simply "PrinterSharename". Can you find out if 2008 R2 can be corrected to return the same value as what 2008 (32 bit) was returning. The only way I can see which Server is sharing the printer is through the caption field. Or, is there another field?

Thanks

Please execute the following through a command prompt on a computer that you believe is returning incorrect printer info: c:\>wmic path win32_printer >lansweepertest.txt
Then look for the lansweepertest.txt file on your C: drive and email it to us at support@lansweeper.com. For easy reference, also include a link to this forum thread in your email.
