iphone purchasing and intune sync

We order iphones in batch. They get delivered to our offices and we immediately add them to lansweeper (with serial number)
A few days/weeks later they get handed over to the user and it gets enrolled in intune.

Lansweeper creates a double, probably because the MAC is not known when we manually add them to Lansweeper.

Is there a way to solve this issue? the mac address is not written on the box, so we can't add it manually.
We need to enter the device immediately to LS when delivered for insurance reasons.

Hello,

Since the Iphones will have most likely a MAC address when enrolled in Intune, Lansweeper will use that to look for a possible duplicate to merge with. If the asset that was added manually does not hold a MAC, these assets will not merge unfortunately.

We received already other requests about this in the past, to be able to control the merging better. Hopefully we can do something about this in a future release.
