Got lansweeper installed yesterday, got the VBS script in our GP, when people login it IS adding them, however they are staying in the "never scanned" section. I try to "trigger" scan, but it still won't. Our Windows firewall is off (had that problem in my test domain LOL). I went into the console and changed the trigger scan action from "myserver" to "the actual name of our server", still nothing.
What am I doing wrong?

I am having the exact same problem.
Hello,
Say I just installed Lansweeper and got the GPO in place. (With the help of a senior tech here) I am having the problem of it reading the user and the PC, but counting them as not scanned. Also its not pulling up their service tag numbers or any hardware info.
Any help?
Many thanks.

Could you post your errorlog.txt file please.
When you click on the computer, do you see anything in the error tab?

I have looked at the support link to fix that, but all the settings are correct. I have tried to use the WMIdiag but it's very confusing.

I saw those too, and I added those accounts in under the local admin group, yet they still show up.
I am sorry, check the security on what?

OK, I see that, but what am I looking for? Do I add those users in there? Which one access or launch?
Thanks for the help BTW
EDIT: I added those users in to BOTH and they still show up as removed.

Update, I am still getting that error with WMIdiag, but in LS now it says
Quote:
Wmierror Remote calls are not allowed for this process. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8001011C)
Also, I have over 300 PC's, I can't be adding those names in for every PC, if that's the issue is there a better way?

I changed my permissions to mirror what you gave me. I ran the connection test "run as" the domain admin:
Quote:
Ping test OK
Remote registry test OK
Remote WMI access test FAILED
Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
Remote \\2k3\c$ access test OK
