Find where registry key is not set

Hi All

I have a number of PCs with broken office file extensions, I'm trying to find them all by checking the registry keys for the extensions. I picked .ppsx at random as it's fairly less common. (Low chance of users fixing it themselves)

On a good PC, HKLM/SOFTWARE/Classes/.ppsx default key should be "PowerPoint.SlideShow.12"
On a broken PC, the .ppsx key exists however the default value is "not set"

Unfortunately it seems lansweeper ignores the key if it is not set, so none of these are recorded into the database.

Any ideas as to how I could find these machines?

There is currently no way around this behavior. A key whose value is displayed as "(value not set)" is treated as non-existent and will not be reported on during a registry scan.
