Windows Vista Machine
Installed Lansweeper and SQL 2008 desktop
Lansweeper console loads fine
The service starts and then stops immediately
netstat -a shows the machine is not listening on port 9542
SQL 2008 is configured using mixed authentication mode
I did not change any of the default settings during install

help....Think

Can you please post your errorlog.txt file (in the service folder)

No such file exists in the specified directory....Brick wall

Can you try to change the account for the service manually and restart the service.
Normally you should see something in the event viewer.

I changed the user to another and it worked. Not sure why Domain admin would not work, I'll have to figure that out.
