I haven't seen an option to notify by email when a device in a particular device group is offline for more than a couple minutes. Is there a way to do that? That'd be very helpful.

It would be good to have an update on this, i posted something similar at the below link and it shows lots of people would like this.

any plans to add this to a near future release? It'd be nice to not have to rely on a separate network management system to tell me if my server or network device is down. Lansweeper periodically scans devices anyway. If it cannot reach that device every 10 minutes or so, it should be able to notify me.

This is not currently possible, because ping requests can only be performed "on demand":
• Lansweeper does not continuously ping machines to see if they’re online.
• Ping results are not stored in the database.
