Hey all,

I want to know if it is a problem to switch the revcovery model of the lansweeperdb from
"Simple" to "Full". I maybe know why it is by default on "Simple". I think because the db is oftenly running on a SQL Server express version so there is no possibility to use "Full".
But I want to have a log backup of the lansweeperdb and be able to make a point in time recovery
of the db.

I hope you understand.

Thanks

You can put your recovery model to full should you want to. Do note that this may have a performance impact, and we would recommend monitoring your log file growth.

For more information on the available recovery models you can check this Microsoft article.

Hi There,

our LS DB is running on a cluster-cloud, full replication across 3 physical servers - in recovery mode full; since 2014.
